Along the River Clyde
Riding for Rita

 22 May 2019

Today we headed towards Glasgow and made good use of the city's cycle path network, much of which followed the River Clyde. Morning Brew stop was next to the Clydesdale Distillary, so an opportunity buy some whisky for those that way inclined!

We followed the route out of the city and on to Loch Lomond. We had a lovely picnic by the water, taking advantage of unexpected sunny weather.

We continued along the west side of the Loch after lunch, which is vast, at nearly 23 miles in length!

A final brew stop by the water, before we continued along the slightly relentless A82 for another 20 miles to the hotel.

Definitely relieved to get off the bikes, we enjoyed fish and chips with Scottish lager and were definitely ready for bed.
