After a punctual start, we headed North towards Glasgow.
Riding a road bike certainly makes you more aware of the road surface, which was rough to say the least! Not ideal when it's your 9th day in the saddle and you already have pins and needles in your hands! 2 new riders joined us today as they had both had to stop half way last year, due to injury.
As we left Moffat after lunch, we had a long but gradual climb to test the legs and appreciate the views. A quick tea break for scones and jam - thanks Darren, before the final leg.
We were relieved to arrive at the hotel and see our bags, whilst other guests look on with amusement as we wheeled our bikes into reception.
