So just a few days to go until we head down to Lands End to start our ride. I know now any further training is futile. I hope what I have done is enough to enable me to complete this challenge without too much pain or lasting damage!
We have a large map in the kitchen, so the children can track our progress each day. I’m sure their geography will benefit, as will my own!
In the last few days we have also reached our fundraising target, which is testament to our supportive friends, family and work colleagues and reinforces how well-liked and respected Rita was.
I plan to continue posting coverage and photos on the blog for the duration of the ride, which I hope will be entertaining. Let’s hope the wind and rain stay away and our navigation skills do not desert us!
