Sarah qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 1999 from the Royal Veterinary College.
Her final year elective was in rabbit ophthalmology and that is where her love of eyes began.
She has worked in mixed, small animal and equine practice since qualifying and throughout this time has loved ophthalmology, gaining her Certificate in 2004 and working in a number of practices taking ophthalmology referrals.
Sarah loves all aspects of ophthalmology but particularly enjoys eyelid surgery and neuro-ophthalmology.
She has a hubbie, two children, a rescue dog called Crumpet and a rescue cat called Jeffrey, plus two guinea pigs (Nibbles and Conker)
She likes running (ultramarathons if she’s not injured), photography, skiing (one of the causes of the injuries!) art and music.
